Company / Organisation Information:
This is a major international organization manufacturing products such as glass, cast iron, ceramics, abrasives and plastics which service a diversified range of industries. The current post holder is due to leave shortly and thus it is an urgent appointment. With this in mind, our client would prefer someone who is already currently in the New York/New Jersey and/or surrounding area.
Job Description:
Reporting to the Decoration Director, you will work very closely with the local decorating companies in the afore-mentioned area. This will call for good communication development skills with these organizations with an ability to develop and understand their strengths and abilities in the decorating marketplace.
Your duties will include:-
Obtain bids on new development work
Taking artwork & specs to various decorators
Monitoring production/decoration processes onto glass for the cosmetics/packaging industry
QA/QC overview of the process
Candidate Specification:
Qualified to Degree level in a related technical discipline
At least 5 years of experience directly in the above sector
Project planning, scheduling, project development skills
Be able to work independently
Excellent communication verbal/written skills in English, any ability in French would be an advantage
